The breeders, producers and culinary craftsmen fervently continue the bressan gastronomic tradition by playing their ace – quality. The markets, full of colour and life, some of which still offer livestock for sale, are the best example of this. For the pleasure of the eye... and the taste bud!

Many gastronomic events continue the theme of culinary pleasures throughout the year, from the legendary “St Cochon” (pig festival) to the unavoidable “Glorieuses de Bresse” - which celebrates the very best of local poultry - and not forgetting the Gastronomic Fair.
